Wouldn't it be grand if all accent furniture was as wonderfully versatile as a console table? You can place them behind a sofa, against a wall or even cover up an old radiator with a demilune or half circle one.
Next you need to worry about the physical hardiness of your console tables. If you have tables with drawers, shelves, cabinets, etc and you are opening and shutting them regularly, chances are they are going to get a little weak over time as they loosen up. All you need is a screwdriver to fix this, as well as a little patience. Take the screwdriver and move around to all the joints, tightening up all the screws. Check for anything that seems to be getting a little wobbly or weak and fix it up. This way you can keep these console tables from taking any real damage.
What makes console tables so appealing to the eye is how they can be crafted materials that are then finished off in any number of fascinating ways. For example, you can get one that is made out of a combination of metal and glass that has a glass table top, which is then supported by a metal base that can feature a brushed pewter finish or a magnificent antique brass finish. Wood, marble, and leather is also another option that one can be made out of while other finishes include cherry, espresso, and many, many more.
