Chances are, you're probably sitting in a room right now that could use console tables. Shopping online is easy; having your laptop in front of you helps you visualize where the piece will go and whether it fits with your existing décor. Another advantage of online shopping is that no salesperson will follow you around the showroom, so you are free to jump from page to page on a website filled with hundreds of choices without constant, unneeded banter and high pressure sales pitches. And you'll never have to try to squeeze that piece of furniture into your Smart car!
There are appropriate console tables for every use. You just need to put enough time and effort in finding the best one for each case. A particular console table I have found to be very useful is a hallway console table. On such a table you can place anything you want and it can really make a difference for your "boring" hallway. You could place picture frames, a beautiful alarm clock or anything else you think would look good or make your life a little easier.
If you've noticed, regardless of what furnishings I've mentioned, I keep coming back to console tables. This is because they've been around forever and will always be around as an important part of your home décor. Console or sofa tables can be used next to your sofa or chair as a place to keep your newspaper or TV guide so it's always handy. If you have an empty corner in your home, nothing fills it better than a console table with a candle, picture, flower, statue or other simple decorative item.
