While using glassware for your candles can definitely make things much safer for you, there are some important safety tips to keep in mind. First of all, don't let candles burn down too low, even if you have it contained in a glass container. It's also important that you avoid going with glass candle holders that have a very narrow opening at the top. This is not a great option because it puts the flame very close to the glass. Also, it's not a good idea to pick up glass containers while the candle is burning. They can be very hot and you could spill wax on yourself.
Hurricane candle holder is made of glass that is big enough to hold a big candle. When candle light blends with glass reflection, it produces an amazing effect within a room. These holders also allow candles to burn even in slow breeze which is otherwise not possible. Hurricane holders are easy and save option to use. These have high sides that allow candle light to reflect. This reflection can not be achieved other than glass holders.
Originally candle holders were made as wall sconce's for holding torches, made my skilled crafts men. As candles came to the fore front of design the sconce's were designed to hold candles. Today though, they are mass produced to a standard size to hold most candles, or with a spike to hold a pillar candle in place. Candles holders have become a first choice gift to those moving into new homes, or for birthdays, weddings and other holidays. You won't go wrong giving one as a gift, go for a simple design and it will fit in with all homes.
