Having console tables in the entry way to your home is like having a good friend waiting to help you out when you come in and out of the house. They are there to hold the mail, the keys, the dog's leash and collar and anything else that you may need as you walk in and out of the door. Make sure to take care of that friend by putting your console tables on a regular maintenance schedule.
Console tables are so diverse, and available in such a wide selection of designs, sizes, colors and shapes, that it can sometimes be difficult to define the difference between a console table and a sofa table. For those of you who are unsure exactly what they are, the definition is really rather vague, they are defined as small tables, often narrow in shape, supported by either two, or four legs, leaving the decision of whether the table you are looking at is a sofa table, or a console table.
Flooring years ago was hardwood floor by necessity. It was all they had available so it was what they were stuck with. When carpeting and linoleum were invented, it was like Heaven to many homeowners. From there, we've seen tiles, laminate flooring and now many are back to wood flooring. Wood flooring looks elegant and goes with any style of furniture. Because console tables come in such a large variety of styles, finishes and colors, you can often get them to match your flooring.
