Whether you're decorating your home for the first time or are redecorating it, you're going to find that while styles have changed, they're also going back to the styles of many years ago. Some of the examples where you'll find this are the flooring, window treatments, console tables and even the lighting. You'll also find there are many styles you can choose including modern, colonial, country, traditional, French and many more. Many of these styles are symbolic of what our ancestors used in their homes. While they used these styles and designs out of necessity, we're using them today by choice.
With console tables, the fact of the matter is, is that not only are they a great choice for putting at the end of a hallway or behind the couch, but they are also an ideal choice for the different spaces in your home too. So, what are you waiting for? Go out and purchase one today so you can be complimented on your decorating prowess tomorrow.
If you have a dining room that's too small to accommodate a sideboard, china cabinet, or buffet, add a console table. It's smaller than traditional dining room furniture, but if it's got a few drawers you can store napkins, serving utensils, candles, and bar accessories. If it's got a few shelves, you can use it to display some of your favorite serving pieces. Add a small wine rack, a basket or box holding a corkscrew or foil cutter, and crystal stemware, you've can create a small wine bar.
