Decorating with candles and candle holders is one of the many inexpensive and creative ways to add a touch of elegance and creativity to any party or event. There are several ways to use beads, ribbons and glitter to decorate candles and create personalized holders, turning plain and ordinary looking candles into a masterpiece even Da Vinci would be proud of. After the party is over, these candle holders can be used as home accessories and the candles, if they aren't burnt out can also be used to enhance the living spaces.
While using glassware for your candles can definitely make things much safer for you, there are some important safety tips to keep in mind. First of all, don't let candles burn down too low, even if you have it contained in a glass container. It's also important that you avoid going with glass candle holders that have a very narrow opening at the top. This is not a great option because it puts the flame very close to the glass. Also, it's not a good idea to pick up glass containers while the candle is burning. They can be very hot and you could spill wax on yourself.
It is a well known fact that collecting and using candles in the home is a very popular past-time. The reason for this is due to the proliferation of candles, both in terms of size, shape, color and fragrance that you can purchase these days. Using candles in the home can really add to the ambience of a room as the soft flickering light can be soothing and relaxing and even a bit romantic, as anyone who has dined by candle light will tell you.
